Retail, Wholesale, or Private Label: Which Blaze Garments Service Is Right for You?

Blaze Garments runs three different ways of buying from the same factory floor, and new visitors often land on the wrong one first β a retail shopper on the wholesale catalogue, or a startup founder on the retail shop wondering why there’s no bulk pricing. Here’s a straight answer to “which one is for me,” so you can skip straight to the right page.
Retail β Buying for Yourself or a Small Gift
This is for you if: you want one shirt, or a few, for personal use, a gift, or a small family order β not for resale.
Retail is single-piece pricing, individual sizes and colours, standard checkout, and normal delivery timelines. No minimum order, no account required. Browse the retail shop and check out like any online store.
Wholesale & Bulk β Buying an Existing Style in Volume
This is for you if: you run a shop, an online store, or a reselling business and want an existing, ready-designed style in bulk β not something custom-made from scratch.
Every style in the wholesale catalogue lists its own minimum order quantity (calculated as one piece per colour, per size), tiered pricing that improves at higher volumes, and the fabric group it’s made from. Build an order across multiple styles in the Inquiry Bag, submit it, and our team confirms final pricing and delivery directly with you.
Choose this over private label if you don’t need a custom design, fabric, or your own branding on the garment β you’re happy with what’s already in the catalogue, just in bulk.
Private Label / OEM β Building Your Own Custom Line
This is for you if: you’re launching your own clothing brand, or you want a specific fabric, fit, print, or label that doesn’t exist in our catalogue.
Private label manufacturing starts with a sample β from as low as a 1-set MOQ β built to your own tech pack, reference garment, or written spec. Once you approve the sample, production scales up from as few as 50 pieces. Your own woven labels, hang tags, and print/embroidery go on the finished garment, not ours.
Choose this over wholesale if the design itself needs to be yours β a competitor buying from the same wholesale catalogue could stock the identical style; a private-label order can’t be replicated that way.
Quick Comparison
| Service | Minimum Order | Customisable? | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Retail | 1 piece | No | Personal buyers, gifting |
| Wholesale & Bulk | Colours Γ sizes (varies by style) | No β existing styles | Shops, resellers, distributors |
| Private Label / OEM | 1-set sample, 50 pcs production | Fully β fabric, fit, branding | New brands, custom projects |
Still Not Sure?
A simple test: if you can point at an existing product on our wholesale catalogue and say “I want that, just more of it,” you want wholesale. If your answer is “something like that, but different fabric / my own label / a design that doesn’t exist yet,” you want private label. If you just want to buy and wear it yourself, you want the retail shop.
Still unsure which fits your situation? Message us directly and describe what you’re trying to do β we’ll point you to the right one.
